Richard Gill is an Penn. State Architecture Grad with a Diploma in Applied Arts In Ceramics from Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. He has been working with clay since 1970. Richard maintains a studio called Fog Run Studio in Burnstown, Ontario outside of Ottawa. There is also the Bittersweet Gallery on site with local art and pottery courses available. Richard has won many awards for his plaques and murals. You can google his name to see his current work.
The house below is a candleholder. The farm scene plaque is fairly large at 19” long and 14” high. Just a small amount of glaze has accumulated to highlight the moon rising. This was done in 1980.
