Full Inventory Management System
We've come a long way, and have implemented an inventory management system that automatically syncs your sales at the time of checkout to your vendor online portal. Add, withdrawal and manage inventory in one spot.
Online Sales & Marketing
With the help of our inventory system we're able to select and add products online for our customers to browse. While it is a fraction of the items in store, it allows our current and new customers to get an idea of whats in store at the market.
Pick the space you're comfortable with.
Not ready for a full booth? We have different spaces available for new vendors ranging from a shelf to arrange your items and leave, to a large space for the veterans that have been in the business a while.
Wait List
There is typically a wait list to enter the market. When you fill out an application, please know it has been received and we will contact you when there's an opening.
Is my inventory a good fit?
The Waterford Antique Market is an antique market first and foremost. While we do not regulate new vs. old goods, the unique and antique items are what our customers visit us for. If you're looking for fully stock your rental space with new items, this may not be the correct venue.
Market Retail Space
Spread across 2 floors, our 16,000 square feet of retail space is well lit for our customers and vendors. Vendors pay a mix of commission and rent. The rent is based on sq footage.
Rented Space
We offer a few different spaces:
Shelf 4' wide x 2' deep x 7' high
Small Booth 9' wide x 5.5' deep
Medium Booth 9' wide x 18' deep
Large Booth 18' wide x 18' deep
Please note: all sizes are approximate and booth boundaries will be explained when you start.
Shelf Space:
- The shelf is supplied by the the market for you to fill and sell your items. It's great for a collection of items. Alternatively, rent a few shelves to have a full display. It's great for people that don't want to supply there own shelving.
Booth Space:
- A booth is entirely set up by the vendor. You supply your own display shelving and fixtures and set it up the way you like.
Fast track getting into the market with a shelf. These come up every month or two.
We recommend this route. Later, if you'd like to upgrade to a booth as it becomes available, the shift is easy.
All Vendors must commit to a 6 month term to start.
Inventory
We ask that all vendors starting at the market use out barcoded inventory management system. Labels and online vendor access are included with your month consignor access fee.
We encourage oddities, unique and rare items, antiques, vintage of all genres.
However, please reference Canada's list for banned goods. Items in question, will be cleared or declined based on this information.
Building Amenities
A new ramp has been installed for ease of entry into the building for our vendors.
Full, newly landscaped parking lot is available for customer and vendor usage.
There is a washroom available for public use as well as a utility room for cleaning up with a wash tub and other cleaning items.
We have a furnished work area for our vendors, with supplies like screw drivers, wrenches, shims and various other tools and items you may need in a pinch.
All items are use at your own risk, and are provided as a courtesy.
There is seating available at the market to take a load off when you get worn out from the day.
This year, we're opening a brand new outdoor space for our vendors & customers enjoyment.
Vendor Amenities
There are a few carts located in the building to assist with stocking.
We supply labels when you utilize our inventory management system.
Vendors are allowed to have a maximum of 2 keys per booth, our staff will assist customers with access.
We are the leader in our industry for our website and online sales. We list, pack and ship online items that are sold for our vendorrs
All vendors within the market benefit from the marketing which includes print advertising, online presence, and email marketing.
Fees
The Market charges 14% commission on all items sold. There is an additional fee for items sold online.
Rental space fees are calculated on various different factors.
UPSTAIRS Monthly Rental rates:
Shelf rental is $45
Small Booth rental $130
Medium Booth Rental $220
*HST is additional
A mandatory consignor access fee of $4.95 is charged monthly which allows vendors the following:
- Full Access to our inventory management system to control, add and withdrawal your inventory
- Labels
- Realtime sales data
